About Us

ervin02.jpgWelcome to DesertBlog, featuring news and views from the Desert Protective Council. Here you will find info on desert-related events offered by DPC and other organizations, alerts on desert conservation issues, thoughts on public lands conservation policy, occasional musings about the desert landscape, and more. We’re aiming for two or three posts a week to start out. The best way to keep up with DesertBlog is to sign up for an RSS subscription using the convenient button in the right-hand column. The beautiful shot of the Algodones Dunes we use in the blog’s header was taken by Andrew Harvey. For more of Andrew’s photos, check out his Visual Journeys website.
