The contractor who was surveying land and trespassing during the process, for First Solar, was fired, according to Greg Miller, Renewable Energy Coordinator for the California BLM in a phone conversation. First Solar wants to build a massive thin-film photovoltaic field in Chuckwalla Valley near Joshua Tree National Park.
