First the Good News…
January 16th, 2009 Posted by Larry Hogue in Public Lands, wildernessThe Senate voted yesterday to pass wilderness legislation covering two million acres in nine states, and hundreds of thousands of acres here in California, including desert areas in and around Joshua Tree National Park. The bill must now go to the House, which has already approved several parts of this legislation separately.
