Gov’s New Address
October 24th, 2008 Posted by Larry Hogue in Sunrise PowerlinkLast week we asked you to call or write Governor Schwarzenegger and ask him to terminate the Sunrise Powerlink. If you called, that’s great! If you used the e-mail address we provided, then it probably bounced back. Turns out that, like most government agencies, the governor’s office now requires citizens to fill out a web-based form rather than sending e-mail directly. This could be because the address was hit with massive e-mail spam, or because the governor’s staff doesn’t like getting e-mails from thousands of citizens responding to online action campaigns.
If your e-mail bounced back, here’s what to do: If you remembered to copy us at stopspl@gmail.com, not to worry. We’ll forward your comments to the governor. If you didn’t copy us, you can use the form you’ll find at this link: http://gov.ca.gov/interact#email. If you responded using our Citizen Speak page, we’ll also forward your comment to the governor.
