moonrocks.jpgmoonrocks.jpgdsc_0117.JPGdsc_0117.JPGWelcome to DesertBlog, featuring news and views from the Desert Protective Council. Here you will find info on desert-related events offered by DPC and other organizations, alerts on desert conservation issues, thoughts on public lands conservation policy, occasional musings about the desert landscape, and more. We’re aiming for two or three posts a week to start out. The best way to keep up with DesertBlog is to sign up for a free RSS subscription using the convenient button in the right-hand column. (Some subscription options, such as Internet Explorer, allow you to subscribe without giving away your e-mail address and other personal info.)

We plan to start posting in earnest the week of March 24th, and we hope to eventually bring you posts from several contributors from around the desert. Sign up for your subscription now, or check back the last week of March. Happy reading!

The Desert Protective Council is a non-profit organization that has been protecting, caring for, and educating the public about our southwestern deserts since 1954. For more on DPC, visit our website at www.dpcinc.org.
