The Desert Protective Council’s Mesquite Fund was established for the purpose of enhancing and protecting the environment and public health in Imperial County, California. Letter of Inquiry All reasonable applications for financial assistance will be considered. Please send a 1-2 page letter of inquiry describing your project. This letter should include:
- Approximate funding request amount
- Contact information
- Organization information
- Project timeline
- Geographic location of project work (all funded projects must be in Imperial County)
- Brief description of the project (all projects must serve the environment in Imperial County in some way)
- Why would this project be of interest to the Desert Protective Council?
We’ll review your letter, and request a full grant proposal if we feel your project merits further consideration.
